Similar to English playwright John Heywood’s famous saying, “Rome wasn’t built in a day. But they were laying bricks every hour”, the construction of CrossCut Digital Strategies was a long and tumultuous process. Though CrossCut is still in the early stages of building its public image, its foundation has been carefully laid over the course of several productive months.
The first brick was set in the winter months of 2025, when RJ Fromm and Vincenzo Calla, Co-Founders of CrossCut Digital Strategies, had the idea to create an agency dedicated to producing high-impact content and elevating the brand presence of local businesses, community organizations, and public figures.
Their partnership began while working exclusively on the communications team for former Nepean MPP and Ontario Cabinet Minister Lisa MacLeod. During this time, they honed their skills in creating digital media under tight timelines – producing short-form videos, long-form podcasts, branded graphics, and a wide variety of multimedia content.
In early 2025, they transitioned to Ontario’s provincial election campaign, serving as the communications team for Nepean PC Candidate Alex Lewis. In this role, they played a pivotal part in shaping the campaign’s digital presence – filming, editing, and publishing video content and campaign graphics designed to engage constituents and communicate the candidate’s messaging.
Motivated by their shared experience and proven success as a communications team, RJ and Vincenzo launched CrossCut Digital Strategies, turning their collaborative vision into a full-service creative agency.
Calling back to Heywood’s quote, CrossCut continues to lay new bricks each and every day. As the agency grows, those bricks are coming together to form something greater – a brand committed to helping local businesses and public figures tell their stories and elevate their presence across every platform.
Polished content. Strategic branding. That’s the CrossCut way.
