CrossCut Digital Strategies Inc. is a full-service creative agency dedicated to elevating brands, businesses, and public figures across all digital platforms. Founded in 2025 by Vincenzo Calla and RJ Fromm, our agency was born from a shared passion for high-impact storytelling and a proven track record in high-stakes communications. With deep roots in the Ottawa community and extensive experience in political and corporate digital strategy, we understand that a recognizable brand is the foundation of growth.

Our team combines cinematic filmmaking expertise with data-driven marketing to deliver polished content that resonates. Whether we are crafting unique brand kits, producing captivating videos, or designing strategic social media graphics, our goal is to create a consistent, professional identity that builds familiarity and trust. Meet the Founders

Vincenzo Calla

Co-Founder

Vincenzo Calla is a fourth year student at the University of Ottawa, pursuing a Joint Honours BA in History and Political Science. He is also an experienced content creator, communications advisor, and dedicated community volunteer.

Through his own brand, VCalla Productions, founded in 2021, he has spent time creating political, historical, and cultural content that has been seen by hundreds of thousands across various platforms.

In 2023, Vincenzo became the Communications Advisor to former Nepean MPP and former Ontario Cabinet Minister Lisa MacLeod, working in her constituency office.

From 2021-2022, Vincenzo was a youth political panelist on SiriusXM Canada Talks, appearing 20 times on that network. In addition to that, he was welcomed by CBC Radio One Ottawa during the 2022 Ottawa Municipal Election to discuss his hit show “The Political Job Interview” that gained over 50,000 views over the span of 60 interviews with candidates in that election. Vincenzo was also highlighted by the Barrhaven Independent Newspaper in 2021 for his involvement in his school and around the community.

Vincenzo has recieved numerous awards and recognitions for his dedication to his community over the years, including the Catholic Education Foundation of Ontario’s Catholic Student Award (2019), The Archbishop of Ottawa-Cornwall’s Award for Catholic Leadership (2022), Ontario Scholar (2022), alongside volunteer recognitions for service at his local elementary school and his church.

RJ Fromm

Co-Founder

RJ Fromm is a recent graduate of Carleton University, where he earned an Honours Degree in Film Studies with a minor in English Literature. He is a passionate storyteller, filmmaker, and content creator with aspirations of becoming a skilled and impactful film and television director.

RJ has written, directed, and edited a range of short films that have been screened for public audiences. In 2024, his original short film Changed Man was selected for screening at Ottawa’s ByTowne Cinema as part of the University of Ottawa’s Student-Led Film Festival.

RJ has also led Narrative Vision, a digital marketing agency he founded to help brands tell their stories through compelling visual content and data-driven advertisements. RJ developed targeted Google Ad campaigns tailored to each client’s goals, audience, and platform. His work ranged from designing ad copy to analyzing performance metrics and refining campaigns for maximum impact.

In 2024, RJ served as the Junior Communications Advisor for Nepean’s former MPP and former Ontario Cabinet Minister Lisa MacLeod, creating engaging multimedia content to promote MPP MacLeod’s initiatives and connect meaningfully with constituents across platforms such as Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

At the beginning of 2025, RJ worked on the campaign of former Nepean PC candidate Alex Lewis, where he played a key role in shaping the campaign’s digital presence. He was responsible for filming, editing, and publishing a wide range of video content—including campaign announcements, event coverage, and social media clips—designed to engage voters and clearly communicate the candidate’s platform.
